Hi, I'm Justin Evans.
I’m a serial entrepreneur with a passion for hard work and innovation. My YouTube journey began in 2010 when my family and I vlogged daily on two channels for three years, learning the ins and outs of social media through trial and error.
Despite years of setbacks and "failure" as YouTubers, we gained valuable insights and experience. In 2014, everything finally came together. We found our niche and grew our family channel to over 2.1 million subscribers and more than 1.3 billion views.
This success opened doors to brand deals and consulting opportunities with companies like Mattel, Hasbro, Walmart, Target, Spin Master, DreamWorksTV, Amazon, Disney, and DC Comics.
In 2018, I started CustomThumbnails.com to help other content creators achieve their goals. Through this venture, I've been fortunate to assist channels in reaching a combined 58 million subscribers and 16 billion views.
My mission is to empower other creators to unlock their potential and achieve their dreams. My story highlights the importance of resilience, strategic thinking, and the benefits of having the right guidance along the way.

Alright, here's a story that I'm proud of but should probably eventually stop sharing... haha! Believe it or not, my journey of innovation started with an auto-flushing toilet in second grade. Yes, you read that right. At home, like many typical boys my age, I would occasionally go to the bathroom and not flush the toilet, see - I should stop sharing this story. One day, after my mom told me to go flush, I thought, "Wouldn't it be nice if the toilet flushed automatically?"
When the science fair came around, I decided to present my idea. I took a piece of cardstock paper and glued a little toy toilet onto it. I added two circle stickers where someone would typically place their feet when using the toilet. My description read, "When the person stands on the dots, the flusher gets ready, and when the weight leaves the dots, the toilet knows to flush." I was in 2nd grade and this was my non-functioning prototype ;)
My teacher didn't see the value in it. She asked if I thought people in the future were going to be lazy. My intention was about convenience and hygiene, but my invention was removed, and I was given a participation certificate instead. I was embarrassed and humiliated, but undetered.
Interestingly, a similar concept had already been developed by the Sloan Valve Company using an infrared sensor in 1980. I didn't know this at the time, nor did my teacher - but I got the boot! This early experience taught me not to let others' lack of vision deter my own.
This is arguably the most important lesson I learned in elementary school.
